Precision lighting redefined
The highly efficient micro-faceted reflectors of XAL light optics focus the cut-off, maximising the luminous intensity. The result is a very tightly controlled beam that gives the lighting designer a whole new level of precision.
The defining factors are the Beam Angle, which contains 50% of the light intensity of the beam (FWHM, Full Width Half Maximum), and the Field Angle, or the area where the light intensity is 10% of the maximum light out-put (FWTM, Full Width Tenth Maximum). The smaller the difference between the Beam Angle and the Field Angle, the more precise the cut-off.
