Hospital & nursing home
Circadian light has been shown to promote recovery and regeneration. In hospitals, doctors' surgeries, and care homes, lighting should therefore be planned with human circadian rhythms in mind. Corresponding colour curves improve the quality of sleep and shorten recovery times. In addition, lighting in the healthcare sector must meet a number of standard specifications: e.g., brightness and glare control values in treatment rooms. Quiet room acoustics and soft, harmonious lighting conditions make a significant contribution to patients relaxing, feeling safe and well cared for by their doctor and the hospital staff.
