For the world's first Jaguar Land Rover showroom dedicated to Modern Luxury in Hanoi, kobi lighting studio redefined this concept through light, leading the project with a distinctive vision. In collaboration with Pon Phu Thai Mobility and James Hagger, the lighting design seamlessly reflects Jaguar and Land Rover’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation.
The vision was to use targeted light to create an atmosphere that welcomes, guides and impresses visitors – while also setting a new standard for luxury in the automotive retail sector and reflecting the brand's modern luxury strategy. To achieve this, kobi lighting studio challenged conventional norms to realise the unique customer experience.
kobi lighting studio's expertise in lighting sophisticated and magnificent spaces supports the brand message of modern luxury. The brand's approach aims to change the status quo in the automotive industry by focusing on a human-centred, emotionally appealing journey. The state-of-the-art lighting is designed to provide customers and visitors with a truly luxurious experience, whether they are here to replace a windscreen wiper or purchase a top-of-the-range Range Rover.
With a passion for the brand and its strategy, months of work went into developing a lighting concept based on two pillars: the first is architectural in nature, with a flow of light that dynamically defines and shapes the space. The second is product-related, with lighting that subtly accentuates the sporty curves, intricate details and unique signature of each Jaguar Land Rover vehicle. Like in a sculpture garden, cars are presented here as works of art.
Sustainability and efficiency were also key considerations. The glass façade, which allows natural light to flood in, saves energy, and the carefully planned lighting solution with colour warm dimming helps to maximise visual impact. Every day, the showroom comes to life in a symphony of light.
