Invisibly integrated, precisely staged
The minimalist SPIO recessed spotlight blends into the ceiling and only appears as a point of light. But behind this there is technical sophistication: the efficient lens focuses the light precisely through an opening of just 13 mm. Different beam angles and an adjustable version provide additional flexibility for lighting design. Whether trimless or with a fine surrounding edge – SPIO blends seamlessly into any ceiling so that the architecture remains untouched while the light unfolds its full effect.
Uniform appearance
The lighting fitting is invisibly integrated into the ceiling; only the small opening from which the light emerges is visible. This allows SPIO to create a uniform, calm ceiling effect and enables an effective lighting effect without interfering with the architecture.
Beam characteristics
Despite the small light aperture, SPIO is available with different beam angles: spot, flood or wide flood. This allows objects to be staged in a targeted and effective way. A wallwasher floor optic is also available for SPIO 20, enabling uniform wall illumination.
Precise light control
The patent-pending adjustable version of SPIO 60 can be moved in all directions thanks to a magnetic spotlight head. The spotlight can not only be rotated a full 360°, but also pivoted up to 30° in all directions. As a result, it offers maximum flexibility in directing and guiding the light exactly where it is required.
Large light output – virtually imperceptible
SPIO has a special LFO lens, which is positioned at a precise distance from the light emission surface. This is dimensioned so that the light beam does not reach the inner surface of the housing. This results in a light emission aperture of just 13 mm and SPIO illuminates the room in a virtually imperceptible manner.
Space-saving installation
DIN-RAIL
The DIN-RAIL system is the ideal solution when space in the ceiling is limited. If individual drivers cannot be mounted directly on the lighting fittings, the system enables centralised installation of drivers and control components in compact control cabinet solutions.
How SPIO becomes invisible
The trimless version of SPIO can be fully integrated into a plasterboard ceiling and can then be painted over together with the ceiling. This allows the spotlight to merge elegantly with the ceiling surface, while the magnetic cover plate remains flexible. It can be painted in the desired colour, removed at any time and makes subsequent adjustment and maintenance easy.
